We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the inspired word of God, the final authority for faith, life and church establishment, inerrant and preserved. We believe the King James Bible is the word of God for English-speaking people and is the only version that is accepted and used in the ministries of this church.
Psalm 12:6-7, Psalm 119:160, Luke 21:33, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ for sin. Colossians 1:14, 1 Peter 1:18+19, Hebrews 9:12
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is the gift of God.
Ephesian 2:8-9, John 1:12, John 3:16, John 14:6
We believe in the eternal security and assurance of believers.
Once saved, we are kept by God's power and are secure in Christ forever.
John 6:37, John 10:27-30, Romans 8:38+39, Ephesians 1:13, Ephesians 4:30, 1 John 5:11-13
We believe in the Godhead. One triune God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections.
Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Colossian 2:9, Romans 1:20, 1 John 5:7
We believe in the existence of Satan (The Devil) who was once a sinless being but fell by pride.
Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:12-18, Ephesians 4:27, 1 Peter 5:8
We believe in an eternal heaven for all who are saved through Christ's shed blood. We believe in a literal hell and eternal damnation in the lake of fire for all who are lost.
Revelation 20:11-15, Mark 9:43-48, Luke 16:19-23, Isaiah 66, Luke 15:7, John 14:1-3
We believe in the unity of believers, which is the body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 1:22-23
We believe in the local church as an assembly of believers gathered together.
Hebrews 10:25, Acts 20:7
We believe that the ordinances of the local church are:
Baptism of the believer by total immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the command of God (Matthew 28:19), and is a figure of the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 3:21, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Acts 8:36-38.
Lord's Supper, the commemoration of our Lord's death by the bread and the fruit of the vine is always preceded by self-examination (1 Corinthians 11:23-28). We believe the Lord's Supper is for believers only.
